Company Info Sessions

A great way to promote your organization on-campus is to host a Company Information Session. There are a number of venues and options available on campus that can accommodate your needs. Whether it be a casual pizza and pop meet and greet or a classy wine and cheese reception, every effort will be to meet your request and ensure that your visit to campus is met with expert detail and coordination.

We recommended that you book your Company Information Sessions early in order to reserve your preferred venue and date. To book for a Fall Session (September – November), please contact us by May. To book your Winter Session (January – March), contact us by October.

Fall Career Fair

The highest profile career event on-campus, Fall Career Fair connects campus recruiters with an engaged and focused audience of students.

The McMaster Fall Career Fair is rated by employers as “one of the best organized career fairs” and a seven-year track record for attracting over 1,800 McMaster students and alumni in attendance.

The 2016 Fall Career Fair will be take place on Thursday, September 22 in the David Braley Athletic Centre between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Registration for the Fair is now open!

Registration rates and information:

  • Early Bird Registration: Before August 5 - $500 (includes HST)
  • Regular Rate: After August 5 - $550.00 (includes HST).
  • CACEE Members Rate: $500.00 (includes HST). Please indicate if you are a member of CACEE on your registration form.
  • Not-for-Profit Rate: $250.00 (includes HST).
  • Career Fair & Connect to Careers Rate (attend two fairs): $900 (includes HST).

Registration Rates Include:

  • Breakfast and Lunch
  • One six-foot table with tablecloth and two chairs
  • Participation for up to 5 representatives from your company
  • Maximum of 2 parking passes for the day (additional parking passes are available at a $20.00 charge per vehicle)
  • Campus-wide advertising of the Fair
  • Wireless access (if requested)
  • Electrical supply (if requested)
  • Volunteers to assist you throughout the day

Registration will close on Friday, September 9 or once maximum capacity is reached.

Connect to Careers is the largest career fair in Hamilton and a one-stop shop for employers looking for qualified candidates. In its fourth year, Connect to Careers is expected to attract up to 3,000 students and community job seekers looking for summer, co-op, part-time and full-time employment opportunities.

This event is a partnership with McMaster University, Mohawk College, Redeemer University College, Workforce Planning Hamilton and Hamilton Economic Development.

Thousands of qualified and highly skilled students and alumni, from a wide range of college and university programs, will be attending the Connect to Careers Job Fair this March.

This is a great opportunity for you to meet your recruitment needs for a variety of positions without the coordination of scheduling and attending multiple events.

You also have the opportunity to meet with community members at the Connect to Careers Job Fair, as this event is also open to the greater Hamilton community.

Community Engagement & Volunteer Fair

An annual fair offered by the Faculty of Social Sciences, Experiential Education in partnership with Volunteer Hamilton and the Student Success Centre. Community agencies can showcase their organization and opportunities to students interested in gaining volunteer experience. In its eleventh year, the fair continues to connect civic-minded students with organizations interested in recruiting for volunteer positions!

The Fair is hosted in the McMaster University Student Centre, one of the busiest locations on-campus. Attend this event and receive great exposure and an opportunity to highlight the volunteer opportunities available within the City of Hamilton and surrounding areas.
